Ba ba.....tee tee on......

I think that our kids are really the funniest human beings on the face of the earth. I'll start with the little one.....she doesn't ever say good morning. She looks at me and says, "Ba ba" (which means she wants a bottle) and then she'll say "Tee tee on" (which means that she wants the t.v. on) and then she will say "Ca cars" or "Berg" (Phineas and Ferb.....I don't really understand how you get 'Berg' from 'Phineas and Ferb' but when Mel was smaller she used to call it 'Phineas and Berg' too!) Then she'll sit there and say, "Go shopping? Go shopping?" over and over again. She does that same thing every single morning.....the other night she woke up at 2:30 am, came into our room and shouted, "Tee tee on! Tee tee on!" (I said no, and she was NOT pleased!!) And I absolutely love how she says "Daddy"....she says it like there is a 't' in it..."Dadty". Meredith is also the jewelry QUEEN!! She can't even go to the pool without 20 bracelets and at least 3 necklaces on. It's so cute!! On a wonderful note, Meredith went pee pee on the toilet last night before she went to bed....WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! The FUNNIEST thing is that she went on the toilet 12 days after she turned 2. Melanie went on the toilet for the first time 12 days after she turned 2.....weird!!!

On to the big one....Eric was making breakfast this morning for our anniversary, and Melanie came down and asked him what he was doing. He told her, and she looked at him and said, "What about Meredith and me?? I heard Meredith in her crib going, 'eggs! eggs'" (like he wasn't going to feed them!) She also goes down every morning and brings me a diet coke to my nightstand....which is very sweet. And the minute I crack it open, she rubs her throat and says, "Mmmm, my throat is dry and I am soooooo thirsty.....could I have a little sip?" She also has quite an imagination on her...yesterday she and Noah were playing hide and seek and they were both hiding. It took me a few minutes to figure out, but they were playing with characters from her favorite t.v. shows! She also likes the name "Katelyn" and will sometimes go all day trying to get me to call her "Katelyn."

On another note, Happy Anniversary to us! I can't believe it has been 6 years already, and I am so blessed to have my wonderful husband and sweet daughters. I don't know what my life would be without them.....I love you all! We are headed up to Athens tonight to celebrate, and I am really looking forward to it! It's funny....I never had anything going on in July and August for most of my life, and now within 6 weeks every year, 3 of the most important days in our family happen....Meredith's birthday, Melanie's birthday, and our anniversary!
