We are back in the swing of our activities after our summer off! Melanie started ballet yesterday and did a FABULOUS job! She did everything her teacher asked her to, including a HILARIOUS jump that more closely resembled a football player than a ballerina......she flitted across the floor, and then right before she jumped, she spread her legs and squatted down like she was about to tackle someone, then jumped over the hoop....so funny! But she did a great job after being off all summer, and she was excited to be back! A side note....she started her day off as a ballerina and ended it as a fisherman....she went fishing with Daddy after he got home from work! I think that's awesome she is so versatile.....
Meredith had her first tumbling class ever this morning, and she loved it. She didn't want to do anything the teacher wanted her to, but she loved jumping on the trampoline. I had my camera and if she didn't think I was taking enough pictures, she would stop and scream "CHEESE, Mommy, CHEESE!" and smile until I took a picture. Then, if I wasn't saying "Good job" enough, she would look at me and say, "Good job, me, good job" and then stare at me until I said, "Good job Meredith!" She is such a funny kid!! She was all excited too, because she got dolphin stamps on each arm when she was done!
