Melanie had her first ballet recital this morning, and she was so cute! I think the big crowd in the room gave her a little bit of stage fright, and she really didn't know what to expect, because she didn't really do much of her tap dance, and in her ballet dance, she sort of hid behind the black screen for most of it!! She was so cute and sweet though. Melanie had a big audience....Daddy, Meredith and me, plus Mom Mom, Papa, Bobby, Lulu, Bill, Grandma, Grandpa, and Ms. Kristen, Noah and Bethany came to see her dance! She danced more in her rehersal on Monday than she did today, though, and it was really funny. She kicked herself in the shin with her tap shoe, and while she was dancing she was rubbing her shin going "Ow, ow!" She also almost fell off the stage when she was doing her kicks during the rehearsal. Melanie did such a good job with ballet and tap this year, and we can't wait to start again in the fall!
