So, I have mentioned before that Eric started a new job at the beginning of the month, which is awesome and I am so incredibly happy for him and proud of him!
Here's what the girls were discussing in the backseat about Daddy's new job:
Melanie: "Well, when we go to see the piggy at Christmastime, is Daddy's new office closer or further away from the piggy?"
Me: "His new office is a little bit closer to the piggy."
Melanie: "Oh that's good. If he worked further away he would have to move jobs again because we need to be close to the pig."
Meredith: "No he don't. If he was far away, we just go without him."
All they were worried about with Eric's new office was the proximity to the pink pig at Christmastime! My wish for them is that they never have any bigger problems in life than how far they are from the piggy!

Eric and I have been married for 8 years and we have 2 beautiful, wonderful, crazy daughters - Melanie, who is 6, and Meredith, who is 4. Eric works hard to give us everything we need and want, and because of that, I have been able to stay home and raise our girls the last few years. With both the girls in school now, I was able to start teaching preschool part time, so I get to be Mommy and work a little bit....it's incredible! We love Georgia football, going to the beach, reading, and most of all, being together!
